Deleting your data
Last updated 3 August 2026
1. The fastest route
Email dpo@connexos.com with the word deletion in the subject line, and tell us enough to find the right records: the organisation involved, and the email address or account the data relates to. If your request concerns a connected account, name the platform.
We acknowledge every request. If we need anything else to identify the records, or to confirm you are entitled to make the request, we will ask once and clearly.
2. Disconnecting a connected account
Where a connection to another platform exists, disconnecting is the quickest way to stop further data reaching us, and you can do it yourself without contacting anyone.
- In ConnexOS: open the connected account and choose to disconnect. We stop retrieving data immediately.
- On the platform itself: you can also revoke our access from LinkedIn, Google or Facebook directly. That has the same effect.
When a connection is removed we delete the data we retrieved through it. One exception. Any field the profile owner already reviewed and approved into their own ConnexOS record stays, because from that moment it is their own profile content, maintained by them, and it remains until they change or delete it. Ask us and we will remove that too.
3. If you are a member of an organisation that uses ConnexOS
Your membership organisation decides what data is held about you and why. They are the controller; we handle it on their behalf. Ask them first, since they can act immediately and it is their record to change.
If you would rather come to us, write to dpo@connexos.comanyway. We will pass the request to them promptly and support their response. We will not delete a customer’s records on our own initiative, because doing so would mean overriding the organisation whose data it is.
4. If you only sent us an enquiry
Demo requests and other correspondence are ours, not a customer’s. Ask and we will delete it. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months from the last exchange in any case.
5. What we may have to keep
Some records cannot be deleted on request, because the law requires us to hold them. Invoices and other accounting records are the usual example. Where that applies we will tell you what is being retained and why, and we will not use it for anything else.
